The Friends of Holy Trinity
The Friends of Holy Trinity has been established to bring together all who value the building and the fabric of Holy Trinity Church and wish to ensure that it can be preserved and enhanced for this and future generations.
The Friends’ committee comprises elected members with a minor representation from the Parochial Church Council and meets on a regular basis to focus actively on:
- identifying projects within the Church that The Friends would like to support
- raising funds to support those projects
- arranging an annual programme of events
- encouraging a wider awareness and appreciation of Holy Trinity Church
How do the Friends raise Funds?
Primarily through membership fees whereby Friends have the opportunity to take out either an annual or lifetime subscription. Secondly, by donations made by the local community, those who have moved away and wish to retain a link, and visitors to the Church. Thirdly, through merchandising income as well as revenue generated by future events. We are confident that not only will proposed new facilities in the Church enable Holy Trinity to afford a more attractive and comfortable venue for community events but will also increase its scope to host nationally-acclaimed performances.
