6th November: An afternoon with John Benjamin

Hot on the heels of The Friends’ Welsh Male Voice Choir’s concert last Sunday, Antiques Roadshow jewellery expert John Benjamin visits Holy Trinity on Sunday afternoon 6th November.  He is going to give a fascinating talk on the development of jewellery over the last 150 years and then, after a short drinks break, offer some anecdotes and assess any items – Antiques Roadshow style – that those attending would like to bring along. You can book your tickets now, at our Ticketsource page.

The Friends of Holy Trinity is looking for people to support its Committee, especially someone who is familiar with social media, who could promote the Friends’ events. This may suit a young person, and may qualify as ‘helping the community’ and ‘developing new skills’ if they are working towards a Duke of Edinburgh Award.

We also need someone to help with marketing and publicity, as our activities grow. Or maybe you’d just like to come and join our friendly committee, helping us to support fundraising for the church building, which has never been more important with the roof needing such urgent attention.

If you are interested and think you can help – or know someone who can – please chat to Colin Sewell-Rutter, or any of the committee, or drop Colin an email. We would love to hear from you!
