Electoral Roll Renewal

While every year we review the Church Electoral Roll for additions and deletions ahead of the Annual Parochial Church Meetings in May, every six years (and 2025 is one such year) a whole new Roll needs to be prepared.

This means the existing Roll becomes null and void – and everyone who wants to be on the roll must re-register. The Church of England Church Representation Rules require everyone to re-apply from scratch to have their name entered on the new Roll ahead of this year’s Annual Parochial Church Meeting, which is on Sunday 18th May at 11.30 am.

Assert your membership of the church, secure your ability to vote at the Annual Meeting, or be able to stand for office!

Whether you are new to the parish or re-enrolling, we look forward to adding you to the new Roll, and, to make it as simple as possible, between April 1st and April 29th (but not outside that period), there are several ways you can do this:

  1. You can enrol by filling in the online Electoral Roll form
  2. You can pick up a paper form in Church, fill it in, and pop it into the Church Office, and we will make the enrolment for you

The new Roll will be published (names only) after 30th April, and will become the basis for those allowed to attend and vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting on Sunday 18th May at 11.30 am.

Don’t delay: do it today.

Best wishes
