The nominated charity for the 5th Sunday collection on 31 October is the Dame Vera Lynn Children’s Charity (www.dvlcc.org.uk)
The Charity was created to give children under five with Cerebral Palsy and other motor learning impairments a place where they can learn and thrive in a warm, supportive setting that understands their unique journey and helps them to realise their full potential. Through early intervention and a support network, we work alongside families to give their very young children the best possible start in life.
DVLCC receive no statutory funding and rely entirely on the community to raise funds. Your support is extremely important, and they are grateful to each and everyone of their supporters. There are many different ways you can support the charity – by volunteering, or undertaking fundraising challenges such as running, cycling, skydiving or trekking, for example.
