Stonework Restoration

This summer, you will see substantial restoration work starting on the stonework of our church tower. You will find an article written by Paul Goldfinch about the work within the July magazine.

Even within the limitations of coronavirus, Holy Trinity Church remains a potent symbol of our faith and an important source of inspiration, through its beauty and its aura of prayerful tranquility. It is a resource, and a responsibility, that belongs to all of us.

The work required is substantial and costly – in the region of £200,000 – and contingencies might be necessary if other problems are discovered. We are very grateful for a substantial legacy that (alongside other donations and grant funding) has enabled us to begin this work, a vital part of maintaining our wonderful ancient parish church. Read the appeal letter for details of what we’re doing, and how you can help! Thankyou so much.

Please pray for this project – a precursor to the still-larger job of restoring our great roof.
